Fáilte romhat go Árainn Mhór.....Welcome to Arranmore

Arranmore Island is the largest inhabited island in Co Donegal and the second largest in all of Ireland. It measures 3 miles x 7 miles and has population of approximately 600 people.

The island is also part of the Donegal Gaeltacht and plays host to Colaiste Arainn Mhor for 6 weeks in the summer, providing a 3 week Irish teaching course to young people aged between 10 and 18 years old.

With its spectacular scenery of the many cliffs, clear sandy beaches and its seven lakes, it makes it the ideal holiday destination for walking, hill climbing, bird watching or simply to relax and take in the breath taking views.

It is also the perfect destination for diving or sea angling trips which can be done on board another of our fast boats, The Girl Gray.

To really appreciate the scenery of Arranmore, why not take an island tour on board one of our fast vessels so that you can get the best possible views of the caves and cliffs and also hear a bit of local history. You may even be fortunate enough to get a glimpse of the dolphins!!!

If you are into Golf, Cruit Island golf course is only a short boat trip away.

Our island has 5 bars (entertainment in summer months), a nightclub, a hotel, a hostel and many fine B&B's. Most of the pubs provide tea/coffee and bar food.
